Abstract Submission

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACTS AND DIGITAL POSTERS SUBMISSION

You are welcome to bring a relevant poster to the Interstitial Lung Disease Multidisciplinary Meeting 2019. 

We are pleased to announce that the call for digital posters is now open until 29th September, 2019.

Any respiratory/thoracic health topic is allowed for submission, including clinical (including case reports), radiological, histopathological and prevention/public health.

Please read carefully the abstract submission guidelines: 

  • Only abstracts submitted by Residents and Students will be accepted
  • Abstracts can only be submitted electronically through the Interstitial Lung Disease Multidisciplinary Meeting 2019 email: ildmeeting@leading.pt
  • Abstracts should be submitted in pdf format. 
  • Acknowledgement of receipt of your abstract submission and acceptance will be sent to your email address. 
  • Abstracts must be written in clear and good quality English.
  • Maximum 2000 characters, excluding references, title and authors information.  Authors information should include: authors names (first and last), affiliations and email of the presenter.  
  • Each abstract should be structured with the following sections: Introduction/ Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion
  • If clinical case is submitted should be structures according to the following sections: Introduction, Background, Clinical Case Description (including relevant diagnostic studies) and conclusion.
  • Abstracts already published or presented are allowed, but authors should indicate this in the submitted pdf. 
  • The first author of the accepted abstracts will be offered free registration for the Interstitial Lung Disease Multidisciplinary Meeting 2019 once the complete digital poster is submitted.
  • No changes to the abstracts can be made once they are submitted. 
  • The scientific committee will review all the abstracts and will make a decision regarding its acceptance, and its decision will be final.
  • Once accepted the digital poster should be submitted also in pdf form (4-6 slides) until 7th October, 2019. This can be performed as ppt slides and saved a pdf for digital presentation (please see the attached examples below)
  • Acknowledgement of receipt of your digital pdf poster will be sent to your email address. 
  • The scientific committee will review all digital posters and the best submitted poster will be awarded.

Terms & Conditions

Abstracts submission does not require the registration or guarantee place in the Congress. Only the first author of the accepted abstracts will have seat guaranteed.

If the first author of an accepted abstracts is already registered, a refund of the registration fee will be made.
