What is EthicalMedTech Conference Vetting System?
EthicalMedTech Conference Vetting System (CVS) is an independent entity that reviews the compliance of third-party educational events with both MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business Practice and Mecomed Code of Business Practice to determine the appropriateness for companies which are members of MedTech Europe and Mecomed to sponsor Healthcare Professionals to participate in conferences. CVS aims to simplify and centralise decision-making for MedTech Europe and Mecomed members by establishing a single assessment procedure based on a set of criteria provisioned in the MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business Practice. It also aims to harmonise the interpretation of the Code across the medical technology industry with the goals of greater consistency and transparency in industry behavior.

It is my great privilege, as Country Clinical Leader for Affideain Portugal, to announce the upcoming scientific event in October on the topic of Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILD).
This is Affidea's second event in Portugal following a workshop on dementia organised last year.
As the Head of Affidea's clinical activities in Portugal, it is my intention to promote, among other initiatives, an annual event of major importance such as the one I am announcing today.
